Tena Tena is a small remote camp in the exclusive Nsefu sector of South Luangwa National Park. It is situated by the river in the shade of mahogany trees, in what has to be one of the most beautiful sites in the Luangwa Valley.
Six impeccably designed safari tents, with either a double or twin beds, are richly furnished with rugs and hand-carved furniture; each has a small dressing room and an open-air en-suite bathroom with a hot shower, toilet and washbasin.
The central area has a lovely open-sided dining room and bar, built around an old mahogany tree. Dinner can be enjoyed on the banks of the Luangwa River, under the starry sky and accompanied by the sounds of the African bush. Morning, evening and night drives and walking safaris are all on offer, and this camp can easily be combined with its sister camps Nkwali, Luangwa Bush Camp and Nsefu.
